Plant-Based in L.A. Monty’s Good Burger #6

I first discovered Monty’s Good Burger while browsing vegan burger pictures on Instagram. My initial reaction was, “I NEED THIS RIGHT NOW!” The problem? It was a Saturday, and the restaurant was about 45 miles from my house.
Alternatively, I could drive there after work, but at that time, I was working in Culver City, and the drive would take about an hour due to traffic.
Despite the obstacles, I was determined to try Monty’s. One evening, I called my sister and told her not to cook dinner. I left work at 7 p.m. and arrived at the restaurant around 8 p.m., parking at California Marketplace on the corner of 5th and S. Western Ave.
It was less than a five-minute walk to the restaurant, which turned out to be a charming little spot. It wasn’t crowded, so I was able to place my order immediately.
